I’m Gemma Petrie (she/her), a Principal Researcher in Chicago, exploring the intersection of people, society, and technology. My work focuses on understanding how technology and design impact people’s lives and how research can inform policy and regulation.

I lead competition and regulation research for Mozilla. Previously, I led the Firefox User Research Team.
