Farewell to the Chicago UX Book Club

During graduate school I founded the first UX Book Club in Urbana-Champaign with a few friends from my program that shared my interests in research and design. I graduated with my MLIS in the winter of 2011 and moved back to Chicago, eager to continue my involvement by joining the Chicago UX Book Club group. After inquiring whether they were still active, the previous organizer (Gabby Hon) asked if I would be interested in taking over and I agreed.

Now, 5 1/2 years later, I say goodbye to this wonderful group as I prepare for a big move across the country. My first event as organizer took place on Feb 29, 2012 where we read Agile Experience Design and my last event took place on August 16, 2017 where we read Questionnaire

Thank you to my co-organizers, Sharon Bautista & Janie Cisneros, for their years of collaboration, and thank you to everyone who joined us for one of our 56 (!) events. I've made so many wonderful friends, had so many great discussions, and of course - read so many books! I'll miss all of you. ;(
